The fruit are eaten by Cassowaries and Spectacled Flying Foxes.

Flowers: Golf ball sized with yellow petals and white styles – stunning!
Fruit: Brown
Dist: Rainforest, monsoon forest, swamp forest and gallery forest from Iron Range to Bulburin near Gladstone. Also northern WA and NT.
